20 years ago I was working as a sports physio, and taking a beating from clients who just weren’t getting better. They were coming to see me, 7, 8, 9 or more times and still weren’t back to 100%. And I hated it. I hated that I wasn’t able to help them. And I decided that if things were going to change then it was up to me. The industry wasn’t going to help me. I had to take control and that was where the concept of ‘Nerve Locks’ started.

Through years of personal research, working on friends, family, willing patients and spending hours upon hours in follow up, feedback, checking in, asking questions, and trying many many things I discovered my own treatment protocol which I call the ‘Bostock Needle Technique’.

And it’s that experience and the hundreds of daily messages I receive from people all over the world, desperate for help that led me to develop this program.

Just wanted to check in - I have been going at this very slowly. It's amazing how stiff I become if I miss a day (oops!). The tension in my low back is decreasing. My range of motion is increasing (yay!). My osteopath has been able to go deeper in some treatments (also yay!) and I'm booked in for some dry needling on Friday. I work out in water and have found that some of my range of motion has increased, but when I'm at aquafit and they want us to move our legs side to side, I can NOT. The pain is high but stops as soon as I stop that motion. I'm also doing the emotional part of this work and it's been really hard but I know it's worthwhile in the long run. I really appreciate this FB group as a place to check in and read about how others are doing as well.

Wow! It is hard to believe I am five weeks into this program. My pain started after a gel knee injection in February. I was in so much pain I could not climb stairs or step forward with my left leg. To complicate things I had been in an automobile accident late December which put my thoracic spine out. I have been seeing a chiropractor, physiotherapist with dry needling, and TCM acupuncturist starting soon after these injuries. I think the most difficult part has been trying to determine how to manage all of these therapies and use them to align with Jim's wonderful protocol. I am happy to say I am seeing real progress and I am tapering off of these other therapies. I realized I must also have nerve locks in my knee so I searched all of Jim's videos for knees and this has also been very helpful. I have to say I was slow to incorporate the breathing because I could not hold my breath as long as the video directed but I realized just trying my best and to keep practicing would eventually get me there. That is so true for everything in this journey. Good luck to everyone. I hope you are also making progress!
